Summary: To wake up to bright red sun rises with the sound of the waves, was so wonderful, a most restfful place. Not a huge cottage but one of the nicest stays in NZ for our group. The are little bugs flying around outside, but not biting and you quickly learn to ignore them. The oven completely broke on our first night, but Vicky the manager was there the very next morning. Unfortunately it was unfixable while we were there, but apologies we offered. So a new oven will be there now. A bbq would have been handy, also only 2 deck chairs, but benches available. As there is no wi-fi in most of that area, we played cards and did puzzles in the evening. But the daytime was awesome. The beach is one of the nicest we saw, clean soft sand and wonderful surf. We would definitely book this place again.
